  4. This document must accompany any and all copies of this software!

  6. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
  7.  
  8. IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY:  This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal
  9. agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and NormSoft, Inc.
  10. (AUTHOR) for the software accompanying this EULA, which includes computer software
  11. and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic
  12. documentation ("SOFTWARE").  The SOFTWARE referenced by this EULA is the
  13. unregistered shareware version of CryptInfo.  By exercising your rights to make
  14. and use copies of the SOFTWARE, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
  15. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, you may not use the SOFTWARE.
  16.  
  17. LICENSE
  18.  
  19. 1.    GRANT OF LICENSE.
  20.  
  21. This EULA grants you the following rights:
  22.  
  23. a)    If you are a full-time student or you are employed by an educational
  24. institution, then:
  25.  
  26.     i)    You may install and use any number of copies of the SOFTWARE for
  27.         as long as you continue to meet the above requirements.  The
  28.         SOFTWARE may be used only by you.
  29.  
  30. b)    If you do not meet the qualifications stated in (a), then you may install
  31. and use only one copy of the SOFTWARE for up to 30 days.  After this time,
  32. you must remove the SOFTWARE or purchase a licensed version of the SOFTWARE.
  33. You are entitled to only one 30-day evaluation period.
  34.  
  35. c)    You may reproduce or distribute copies of the SOFTWARE, provided that
  36. this is done for non-commercial purposees only.  Distribution for any other
  37. reason must have prior written authorization by AUTHOR.  Unauthorized
  38. commercial use includes, but is not limited to, the following:  a product for
  39. sale; accompanying a product for sale; accompanying a magazine, book, or other
  40. product for sale; distribution with copying or any incidental costs;
  41. availability for download with access or download fees.  All components of
  42. the software must be included with any copy, without modification, including
  43. this document.  The program name or the name of AUTHOR shall not be used for
  44. promotional purposes without prior written consent of AUTHOR.

  46. d)    Decompilation, and Disassembly.  You may not reverse engineer, decompile,
  47. or disassemble the SOFTWARE, except and only to the extent that such activity is
  48. expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.

  50. e)    The SOFTWARE is licensed as a single product.  Its component parts may not
  51. be separated for use on more than one computer.
  52.  
  53. f)    Without prejudice to any other rights, AUTHOR may terminate this EULA if
  54. you fail to comply with the terms and conditions herein.  In such event, you must
  55. destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE and all of its component parts.

  57. 2.    COPYRIGHT.
  58.  
  59. The SOFTWARE is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties,
  60. as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties.  All title and
  61. copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE (including but not limited to any images,
  62. photographs, animations, video, audio, music and text incorporated into the
  63. SOFTWARE, the accompanying printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE are
  64. owned by the AUTHOR (NormSoft, Inc.).

  66. 3.    LIMITED WARRANTY.
  67.  
  68. a)    NO WARRANTIES. AUTHOR expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE. 
  69. The SOFTWARE is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or
  70. implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of
  71. merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.  The
  72. entire risk arising out of use or performance of the SOFTWARE remains with you.

  74. b)    NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall AUTHOR or his
  75. suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation,
  76. damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business
  77. information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability
  78. to use the SOFTWARE even if AUTHOR has been advised of the possibility of such
  79. damages.  Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or
  80. limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above
  81. limitation may not apply to you.

  83. c)    NO LIABILITY FOR ERRORS OR OMISSION. AUTHOR expressly disclaims any
  84. liability for errors or omissions in the content of the SOFTWARE.

  86. 4.    RESERVATIONS.
  87.  
  88. All rights to the SOFTWARE not expressly granted herein are reserved by AUTHOR.
  89.  
  90. 5.    JURISDICTION.
  91.  
  92. If you acquired this product in the United States, this EULA is governed by the
  93. laws of the State of Massachusetts.  If this product was acquired outside the United
  94. States, then local laws may apply.
